Günter Stuff has been working as an independent tax consultant since 1993; at Herfurth & Partner he is responsible for national and international tax law.

Günter Stuff holds a degree in business administration and studied business administration at the University of Mannheim. He worked as a tax and auditing assistant in Schwäbisch Gmünd and then for many years in industry, most recently as department head for international tax law in the group tax department of Preussag AG in Hanover. From 1993 to 2016 he led his own practice in Garbsen near Hanover.

Günter Stuff focuses on international tax law, in particular on issues of double taxation of income taxes, the structuring of corporate structures, corporate succession advice and inheritance tax.

In corporate transactions and M&A projects, Günter Stuff is responsible for the tax aspects in the structuring of transactions and the implementation of corporate projects, e.g. tax due diligence, share deals, asset deals or tax effects in real estate transfers. In succession advice, Günter Stuff provides advice on inheritance tax, gift tax and income tax, including models for anticipated succession and usufruct concepts.

In addition, he has experience in advising medium-sized companies and private individuals in Germany and abroad. His industry expertise lies in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, wholesale and retail, transport, construction and engineering, as well as in services, including social and health care (medical practices/dental practices, nursing homes).
